Perfect for getting Hyperactive Kids to Wind Down and Learn! June 29, 2010 Amber Hanford (Cedar Rapids, IA United States) This game is awesome - not only does it give kids a way to burn off energy, but it also teaches them colors and math. The game will shout out colors or numbers or ask you to do math with numbers to keep it challenging for kids of all ages. Worked like a charm with some of the most hyperactive little ones I've ever been around, and 5 months later they're still playing it!
Fun for a day June 28, 2010 Mom4 I bought this toy for my son's 6th birthday. All of my kids loved it and we played it as a family the first night we got it. Initially the batteries are very difficult to insert, but once we figured it out everything was fine. The NEXT day we got it out to play it again, but the striker wouldn't work. We couldn't get the striker to advance past the 1st level, it would only allow one person to play and it would only allow us to choose one type of game. I tried putting in new batteries, setting the reset button, everything we could think of we just couldn't get it to work. We then tried to play with it and it stopped working completely. We hadn't even used it for 24 hours and it was a bust. I tried calling the company and they didn't help at all. I couldn't get a hold of an actual person and when I left a message I got an automated response saying they would respond in 3 weeks! The game was fun while it lasted, but definetly not worth the frustration.
Doesn't work May 24, 2010 M. Kessler 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this in December to give as a birthday present this year.
Today, this was a gift to my daughter. Right away I thought something was odd as it doesn't seem to recognize Orange.
Now I can say for sure that it doesn't work. Based on other reviews, it appears that many others have had similar problems.
DISAPPOINTMENT April 25, 2010 J. andriechack (Pittsburgh, PA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my grandson's sixth birthday. It was a great toy and he loved playing with it, but in less than a week it stopped working. My daughter has called twice for replacement parts. They have been promised but never arrived. What a shame because it is such a good activity toy, and especially good since it can be used indoors in the snowy or rainy weather. Wouldn't recommend purchase.
Fun for the whole family February 26, 2010 Kristi Ison (Mesa, AZ USA) My 3-yr-old, 10-yr-old and 12-yr-old (all girls) have enjoyed this game. Even my husband and I have joined in the fun. It helps my 3-yr-old learn her colors and numbers, and it helps my older girls' listening skills and reaction time. I like them to spread the game throughout the room so they're getting exercise, but they like to "cheat" and put them all together so they can get really fast times. I like that there are different levels of difficulty.
