5 out of 5 stars GRANDKID DELIGHT   January 6, 2009
camera use (florida)
4 YEAR OLD GRANDCHILD RECEIVED IT ON CHRISTMAS AND WITHIN 10 MINUTES WAS OPERATING IT LIKE A PRO. HE LOVES IT AND KEEPS HIM ACTIVE AND AWAY FROM VIDEO/TV. ADULTS TRIED IT THE NIGHT BEFORE AND WERE EXCITED ABOUT IT ALSO

5 out of 5 stars My kids love it   January 2, 2009

My kids absolutely love this scooter. But it requires a good helmet (and knee and elbow protection in my opinion) on top of bike gloves.

5 out of 5 stars Son loves it....and so do I   January 1, 2009

This was one of my surprise gifts for my 8 year old son for Christmas. I ended up getting a great deal on it through Amazon so I figured why not?

He opened this gift on Christmas morning but I didn't get a chance to actually put it together until a couple of days later. Once I got it together however, my son can't put it down. Every morning when he wakes up he wants to ride it When the weather is bad outside he rides it indoors. The scooter doesn't seem to do any damage to our wood floors so I guess its OK as long as he doesn't go too fast. I'll admit that when he's in bed, I ride it around house for a few minutes as well. I try not to ride it too much because I'm about 35 pounds over the weight limit of 143 lbs, but its so hard not to ride it because its really THAT addictive. Even still, the scooter handles my weight without any problem.

This scooter requires no pushing to move forward; all that is needed is to move your legs side to side to get it going. However, this is true only on level ground. Moving uphill requires pushing, and I expected as such so this is not a drawback.

If you want to get your kids out from watching TV or playing video games; then this scooter is highly recommended. My son already has 3 scooters but since he got this one, he hasn't played on the computer much at all and in fact that XBOX 360 racing game he bought with his many gift certificates he received on Christmas, has not even been opened yet. I must warn you, this scooter is very addictive, and if you are under the weight limit, you may find yourself riding this more than the person it was intended for!

5 out of 5 stars Absolute Winner!   December 31, 2008

We gave this to our 8 year-old son for Christmas and it was a hit. In fact between him and our almost 5 year old daughter they made at least a hundred laps around the kitchen (too snowy outside still). In fact I'm going to buy one for our daughter's birthday this month so they won't fight over who gets to use it. Our 12 and 13 year-old kids also ride it and have fun.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing little scooter   December 30, 2008

I bought this for my 9 year old son for Christmas based on feedback and the awards it received. My son loved it and is learning how to do tricks already. It has totally built his confidence as he does wheelies and slides around. It is great exercise and keeps him busy for hours. It is a really cool addition to our existing Razor scooter. I would highly recommend it!!!
