This set was bought for my 3 year old for his birthday. The train is quite simple, but seems durable. The cars and engine hook together with a magnet which is great since he is not asking me to hook them together every minute. After watching me set it up a few times, he can now put the track together all by himself. Great product!

My son, like most boys, loves trains, trucks, cars, etc. I got him this for his 2nd birthday, and he loves it. I pack it in a shoebox and it goes many places with us. He's quickly learning how to put the track together and the train goes on easily for him. It was nice to get a good wooden set without paying the premium for a "character"

I purchased this train set because it was inexpensive compared to the name brand trains on the market and since I needed two of them for preschool classes it was definately within my price range. I was very pleased with the quality since it has held up well with all the little hands playing with it and it is compatible with the Brio and Thomas the Train systems.
