5 out of 5 stars Great for 2 yr olds   September 18, 2008
Toddler Girl's Mum (Bay Area, CA)
I bought this puzzle after trying out Infantino's Where's my Tail puzzle (which incidentally is a huge hit) for my 2 yr old daughter. Initially she seemed a bit confused with so many colors & pieces, but soon she got the hang of it. She loves it so much she HAS to have puzzle time morning and evening - I believe this puzzle has strengthened her concept of colors as well as her motor skills. I would highly recommend this for any 2 year old.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent learning challenge   July 15, 2008

This was a great Christmas present for my daughter who was approaching 2 at the time. She was already learning her colors and learning how to coordinate puzzle shapes. I thought having 9 puzzles with the 9 different colors would pose as difficult but she quickly realized she needed to sort by color first and then put the puzzles together. At 2 1/2 she still doesn't get bored with it.

Puzzle pieces are sturdy. Just don't let them chew on it.

5 out of 5 stars love it   May 24, 2008

My two and a half year old loves this puzzle. It's just the right difficulty level for her. I wasn't sure if she'd go for it at first but she came around and has been putting them together the past couple days. I noticed some of the pieces fit together the wrong way though so sometimes she thinks she has it right anyway even though it's wrong. All the infantino puzzles are very durable too.

3 out of 5 stars Would like it better if the pieces fit a little tighter   April 23, 2008

My biggest complaint is that the pieces don't fit together snuggly. This might not be much of a problem if you are playing with them on a hard surface such as a tile or hardwood floor or a table, but when we play on our carpeted living room floor, the pieces don't fit together well.
My 1-year-old doesn't quite grasp the concept of putting the pieces together, but does notice like colors and picks up the yellow pieces one in each hand.
I like the product; I think developmentally it will help; but I think a better job could have been done to click the pieces together more firmly.

I purchased this item for my 18 mo old. It is a bit advanced for her but she enjoys when we sit down for puzzle time.
