Product Description Everyone loves the timeless gameplay of Scrabble. Now, with Super Scrabble, you'll be able to add to your fun with more tiles, more spaces and more scoring. You'll find 200 wooden letter tiles, comprising a unique letter distribution, that permits you to make words not possible in regular gameplay (without using the blanks). The Super Scrabble gameboard has nearly twice the amount of spaces of a standard board (441 spaces compared to 225). The added room allows your words to spread further and faster than ever before. To the familiar double and triple letter and word scoring spaces are added all new quadruple letter and word scoring spaces, tempting you to reach for bigger and bigger bonuses. For two to four players.

Great Concept for those who enjoy Scrabble, but the board is flimsy. October 2, 2008 Benjamin Jay Griensewic 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Super Scrabble is a fun concept, and looks well in design. Take all the times from Scrabble, and double them, and double the amount of spaces around the edges. That's the good part. The board however, is a split-to-open design, and seems to (at least with mine) to have arrived slightly warped, which means that the letters along the fold tend to center. Frankly, it doesn't work very well, especially if you're used to playing on a deluxe edition board, or the Barnes and Nobles edition (and so forth). If you enjoy Scrabble, it might be worth it to you, but if you don't have a deluxe edition already, just get that instead.
Not for the faint of heart June 29, 2008 James C. Dooley 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The good thing about the original game of scrabble, it lasts just long enough so that once everyone starts really getting sick of it, you realize the grab bag is almost empty. This game is a lot like a marathon. When you feel like it should be over, you realize you're not even halfway done. Everyone doesn't want to build around the triple word scores because of normal Scrabble phobias, which means you have a very center-concentrated game in what needs to be a very spread out game. Don't expect to want to see the people you start this endeavor with for a couple of days afterwords, as tensions will be high by the time it is over...
Good but expensive April 6, 2008 Rhys M. Berryman (Great Falls, MT (USA)) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Scrabble has always been fun for me and my wife. The Super version is somewhat more fun, making the game longer and providing the possibility of more interesting words, and of course higher scores. My only complaint is the price for what you get. The board is the same quality as the original, and a bag is included for holding (and selecting) the tiles. But the tiles are not as well-made as the original. If you're a Scrabble fan, you'll enjoy Super Scrabble, but may not like what it costs!
No need to play the old "Scrabble"! February 25, 2008 X man (No Man's Land) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
"Winning Moves Games" is a great company. Aside from making my all-time favorite board game (Monopoly: the Mega Edition), they have come up with a lot of other great games. Like Mega Monopoly, Super Scrabble is a classic. And like Mega Monopoly, the game-play is pretty much the same as the original version (In MM, it's close, but different; in SS, it's basically the same), but the whole experience is enhanced, leading to better games and a lot more fun! If you double the number of tiles and add some more squares to a regular Scrabble game board (including more Double Words, Triple Words, and even the all-new Quadruple Letter and Quadruple Word scoring squares!), you've got Super Scrabble. Get out your tile rack, pick seven tiles from the special tiles bag, get out your Scrabble dictionary (if you have one) and get ready to play! This game will most likely be so much fun that you won't feel the need to play the original Scrabble anymore. After all, why play the original when you've got a Super-Fun, Super-Big version!? The only problem with SS is that the games may take a little while longer than they used to in the old version, but since there are so many more opportunities to score (every game I play I get at least two chances to use all my letters), you probably won't notice the time. Once in a while, though, you may get caught in a game where you have very little room to place words. Such games can be torture, but they don't happen often. Game-play is usually very smooth. There are often a dozen different opportunities per turn, providing you with numerous ways to score points, and, to top it off, the board is covered in bonus squares. Some areas even have Double Word squares in close proximity, making it easy to lay down your word on both. Triple Word squares seem to be everywhere, and the coveted Quadruple Word squares make any word valuable. For any fans of good, quality, fun board games, Super Scrabble is a must. In fact, this game is so good that you might as well put the old Scrabble in the closet and forget about it. Super Scrabble is certainly among the best board games out there. Don't pass it up. Buy it and prepare to spend some pleasant evenings at home enjoying a whole new Scrabble experience!
fun for hours! January 13, 2008 melissa alger (NJ, United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We had a lot of fun playing the newest addition to the Scrabble family! Here are a few facts: It does take a lot longer to play this game! Know this going into it! Also, we are used to playing on the Deluxe model, so going back to the basic board is no fun! Having the tiles slide all over the place stinks! But it was GREAT having so many more E's to use, that alone is reason to try!! The amount of 7 letter words we were able to play was unbelievable! The first game we played I ended up with a score of 784!!! WOW! It is a great game and is a lot of fun, just as the other was! Highly recommend!
